Early Learning Centre is based on a simple philosophy; children learn best when they are having fun!

When Early Learning Centre was established it sought to find toys that were developmental, robust, high quality, value for money, safe and most of all fun to play with. The toys selected would always be non-fadish and so could be used by each successive child in each generation.

As the business grew, it began developing, designing and manufacturing its own toys to its own strict criteria. Around the world this principle remains ever present in everything we do and in everything that is included in our range.

ELC in Cyprus
Early Learning Centre was first established in Cyprus in October 1995. The Brand, having been established for over 35 years has evolved to include the latest learning in the field of child development. Cypriot families soon recognised the quality of the toys valued and the level of service in our stores. At ELC we try to make shopping easy. All our toys are supported by a no quibble returns policy and where possible spare parts are available.

To help guide parents our packaging features “development icons” and playing tips. This way you can know what your child can learn from each toy and the skills you can expect them to develop. The playing tips will suggest creative ways of using each toy to maximise the learning opportunities and at the same time to help parents and carers to show moments of happiness at each stage of the development process. Being a parent is probably the most important job in the world that has no formal qualifications. For us, there is nothing better than helping parents help children be all they can be.

Will your child be safe?
We test our toys as hard as your kids do – we throw, jump on, poke and even lick them (they don’t taste of much), to ensure our toys meet and exceed all British and European safety standards. We carry out tests for small parts, bite tests, hinge/finger trap tests, water solubility and resistance to mould, floatation tests, drop tests, hair tests, toxicity tests and flammability tests, amongst many others. We will never compromise on quality or safety.

Will your child have fun?
The key to having fun is finding the right toy. At Early Learning Centre we welcome you and your child to come and play with our toys in our stores. We have weekly playtimes run by our friendly staff for some real hands-on fun. We carefully categorise our toys by age group so that they keep your children excited about the toy and at the same time offer them the challenge to keep on playing and having fun.
